Frontier Airlines said on Monday that its revenue in December would be down by about USD$11 million due to two major snow storms in the month, one of which shut down its primary Denver Airport hub for almost 48 hours.
The airline said the storm-related loss of available seat miles in the December quarter will result in higher unit costs than previously anticipated.
It said revenue passenger miles decreased 2.2 percent for December from a year ago and its load factor decreased by 2.7 points.
