skunks
Must admit I've never heard of c_dilla until now. Apparently, c_dilla was acquired by Macrovision in 1999 and provides its products and services primarily to the home video, consumer multimedia software, digital pay-per-view, cable, satellite and video security markets.
Can't say why it has suddenly appeared on your HD. I have had a sniff around and whether it is classed as spyware or not is not conclusive.
If I were you, I would run "Adaware",
Lavasoft which will find and remove it (along with any other known spyware programs). I would then use a decent Registry Cleaner to remove any scraps from the reg.
Personally, I tend not to remove individual entries from the registry as a mistake can be costly if you haven't made a backup and a nuisance if you have.
I use RegCleaner from
JV16 and find it excellent.
For anyone interested, here is a list of software programs that are known to contain "spyware" -
SISL - interesting indeed.
Best!
