The refer a friend, simply guarantees them a spot at an initial recruitment day. My poor mate got tossed out in the first round, despite having two years flying experience.
Sorry to butt in. I did the recommend a friend thing, but my friend didn't get to the asessment day. From what I understood, the recommend a friend thing just meant I got £200 when she finished her probation (or training one or the other).
Being reccommended didn't get her anything.
