I think you are being a big girl's blouse about the running thing. You've mentioned it in earlier posts. Get a decent pair of shoes and put in some training.

Interval training, eg 10 x 400m, preceded by 1000m jog/warm up and followed by a 1500m jog/warm down.

At your age you can do it twice a day, and you quickly get fit. If I can get fit again in six weeks aged 47 to run nine miles in 75 minutes then you can get fit enough to pass a bleep test for the Cr@bs in two, unless you've spent the last 18 years in bed.

Get a grip - it'll be harder if you get in, I can assure you.
