I flew accross London last night, yes a few strobe lights could be counted, but nothing like the miles and miles of headlights and taillights streaming along the main trunk routes in and out of the capital. After we landed I drove the short distance home along the M1 sandwiched amongst hundreds of HGV's carrying goods that should be transported on the highly efficient electric railway network that we do not have in place!!
