Sorry, I retract my comments: it's not at all inconvenient to be forced to move to a country you have no home in. Having said that, a colleague who was evacuated with his family from Nigeria in 1994 while working for BHL, said it was quite awkward trying to place his family in the UK at short notice. I guess the ravages of time have tempered his view of that experience and really it was no hassle at all.
