You should be so lucky as many employees have to take leave when it falls due or within 12 months or forfeit the lot. It is not meant to be accrued and cash taken in lieu.

Why should the airline tell you how many have left? After all, what business is it of yours, mine or anyone other than those who have gone and their employer?
