Aer Aerann are having a bad time with the weather

17.00 Friday 22nd Update
Weather disruptions in Ireland and the UK
Severe fog is affecting flights between Ireland and the UK.
Aer Arann is doing everything possible to get all our customers back home for Christmas.
Our latest information is:
+All Irish airports are forecast to be open Friday 22nd December.
+RE623 DUB-ORK customers are now moved to flight RE625 dept 15:45.
+Weather in the south of England has resulted in severe disruptions at London and airports across the south of England.
+ RE546 LTN-WAT for Thursday Dec 21, has been transferred to fly on an Aer Lingus flight EI287 Bristol to Dublin. Depart Bristol 14:45, arriving in Dublin at 15:40. Customers will be transferred to Waterford airport by coach.
+Customers should expect delays. At this time, the weather forecast in the next 24 hours is poor for the south east of England. As of 10:00am Dec 22, Cardiff, Bristol, Birmingham and London City airports are closed.
+ Cork-Bristol RE431 and Bristol-Cork RE432, are cancelled today Friday 22nd due to weather. However, Aer Arann will put on an extra service Saturday 23rd December to cater for these customers. Flight time to be advised after 15:00 today Friday 22nd December.
+As Cardiff and Bristol are closed as of 10:30 am today Friday 22 December, all Aer Arann flights from Dublin and Cork to Cardiff and Bristol are likely to be diverted to Birmingham. Please check-in on time for your flights as you will be coach transferred to Birmingham. Similiarily if you arrive in Birmingham from Cork or Dublin, you will be transferred to Cardiff or Bristol.
+RE315 and RE316 Dublin / Cardiff is cancelled as Cardiff and nearby airports are closed. We are hoping to rebook customers on tomorrow's flights. Please check aeraran.com for updates tomorrow, Saturday.
+RE506 LTN-GWY and RE544 LTN-WAT for Friday Dec 22 were combined into one flight and this flight was supposed to depart Luton at 13:00 on RE1501. At present, this chartered aircraft is slot restricted at its current departure airport. In the meantime, weather in Luton has closed in, meaning that we have had to change plans. Unfortunatly, this means that the aircraft will not now depart out of Luton. Aer Arann is trying to work out the next best alternative to get customers out of Luton home to Ireland. We are trying all alternatives. At present our best estimate is for this aircraft to arrive in Luton at 17:30 for 18:00. Departure will be scheduled after this time. On arrival in Dublin, Waterford customers will be transferred by coach to Waterford.
We are hoping to transfer Galway customers by Aer Arann flight direct to Galway.
+RE501 GWY-LTN, RE503 GWY-LTN and RE545 WAT-LTN for Friday Dec 22, will now travel via Dublin to Luton on RE1502. Our best estimate for this departure is now 16:30 DUB-LTN arriving 17:30.
+ As of 15:00 today Friday December 22nd, we are not in a position to give an exact flight time for our specially chartered Aer Arann aircraft to transport our customers from Luton back to Ireland and vice versa. Affected flights are:
+RE504 LTN-GWY and RE542 LTN-WAT
+RE543 WAT-LTN
Aer Arann is trying everything to sort customers affected on these flights. We will have this information on aerarann.com as soon as arrangements can be made. We apologise for all these changes but they are out of Aer Arann's control..
+Aer Arann apologise that RE508 LTN-GWY and RE546 LTN-WAT is now cancelled. Luton and nearby airports are closed. We hope to rebook you on tomorrows flights. Please check aerarann.com for updates tomorrow
+Aer Arann apologise that RE507 GWY-LTN and RE547 WAT-LTN is now cancelled. Luton and nearby airports are closed. We hope to rebook you on tomorrows flights. Please check aerarann.com for updates tomorrow
+ Isle Of Man - Luton flights are currently operating on schedule. However LTN-IOM may have delays due to weather at Luton. Customers should be aware that there is a danger of cancellation if the weather in Luton worsens.
+Our call centre is open and working extra hours to try and contact as many customers as possible by text to update them with the latest information.
+We will be updating the website throughout the day.
+Aer Arann is committed to bringing home all its customers for Christmas. We have contingency plans in place for Sat 23 December and Sunday 24 December, should the weather to upset our customers travel plans. Please bear with us - we do want to get you home!
