Im sorry, why do you assume its bmi regional, when in fact it might be bmi mainline that is calling people for interview. I believe they are expected to recruit 40 onto their a320 fleet at heathrow over the next six months. Some rated, some with hours, some with an a320 rating only from GECAT but the majority Oxford low houred, yes Oxford, and they will pay for the rating with a 13500 bond over three years.
Day 1 Interview
The interview lasts around 1 hr 15 mins. You will be sat infront of two pilots and one flight crew manager. They break the interview into three sections; introduction and personal questions asked by interviewer number 1. Evidence based; give and example of a situation where... asked by interviewer number2 and business and technical knowledge asked by interviewer 3. Very simple, informal but with a set format a lot closer to a BA interview with set questions to provide evidence. You are made to feel at ease unlike the robots of BA.
Day 2 Sim check
You will find out results within a week, and if successful invited for a sim check in an a330. Very basic and includes an asymetric ils.
