easyJet have now taken legal advice on this charge and are urging PAX not to pay it. They say their agreement with LPL does not allow the airport to levy more security charges as this is included in their contract with them. Ryanair have been quiet on this which is unlike them.
The barriers have now been installed and the the ticket machines on the ground floor are in place. Looking forward to the next installment!!
