One old and dear departed friend, Captain Larry Blackman of TAA, had something like my total time on one aircraft only, the DC3. Of course, he flew other aircraft also.

Capt. Larry Blackman had just retired from Air Nuigini in Papua New Guinea when I joined them, I believe he had some 45,000 hrs, something like 30,000 in the South Pacific...
