to make it clear
Jumpseats are for pilots.
We dont accept Jumpseats as such..we will provide a seat in a cabin as Extra Crew.
I am aware in the USA, pilot at least used to allow other carriers pilots to Jump seat (in flightdeck)if the flight was full.
I doubt they still do it.
So if you are a pilot and the flight is not full i will let you know JUMP on board b ut in the cabin..and believe me you will enjoy the cabin crews much more than us pilots;-)

I would like to take this occasion to thank NORTHWEST AIRLINES,CONTINTENTAL,FRONTIER to allow me to JUMPSEAT so many times.
YOUR crews have always been great people to me.
Also the pilots who allow me to jumpseat(in First;-) ) from Paris to NEWARK (AMERICAN AIRLINES) eventhough i wasnt on their company list.
That was in 2000 and ill always remember the captain telling the gate agent that he will take me wether i have a ticket o not because i was a pilot and i had to go to work..

SO Thank you guys!!!
