I suppose many of us would imagine that if any European authority would be likely to come down on you like a ton of bricks, it would be the UK CAA...
A little different to the quote from an FAA spokeswoman at the end of this story . And that in response to an aircraft allegedly 22 years out of maintenance, an unlicensed pilot, and crashing into a house after running out of car fuel! (allegedly).
