Often there is a difference between the actual requirments and those published by the company. Usaully, the people who work there know the actual requirments. For instance I work at Air Canada, and the company minimums are three thousand hours with an ATPL. In actual fact the real requirments are more like five thousand hour with jet transport time as a major asset.
