Lived in Qatar for just over a year and still visit quite often. Had two friends who used to teach at the flying school, had no problems and seemed pretty happy, they had both been there for a couple of years so that says a lot in itself. Doha has changed a lot over the past year. Not as liberal as the Emirates, but not as closed as Saudi, i wouldn't have any second thoughts about going back there, loved every minute.
