Pardon me gentlemen for not being clear. The guys a mentioned above have at least 5000+ PIC from their former equipment whether 747, 737, A300-B4 and with at least 10k TT. The 1k - 1.5k PIC is just in their present equipment A330 or A340. If Emirates needed pilots so badly for their Airbus fleet, these guys will be productive in no time. Just to satisfy Emirates standard, they would probably need a few sim sessions or a check from the CP. You might be right Capt. Djoni, no clique. Then again, everyone seems to be waiting for something, give the company the benefit of the doubt.
