I'm not quite sure what BA Connect crews would prefer at the moment. Would they prefer to work for a regional airline which may well result in a change of base or switching aircraft, but a regional airline that still is commited to growth in the regional airline market? Or simply be closed down?
There will be difficulties with a flybe merger, but at least it's an option which will save more jobs, keep more routes operating and provide more growth opportunities than if BA Connect was simply closed.
