I sent a whole new application with a better photo on it plus a letter saying that it was an updated application.
The old application may of been at the bottom of a pile somewhere. I advise you to fill in another application with a nice photo, shirt and tie sort of picky and resend ASAP.
Send by recorded delivery to make sure it gets there.
Re sent application about the beginning of September and got a call about 2 weeks later.
Also a nice letter from my IR instructor and another CV. All of which were printed out on nice expensive paper.
