Roger Co-] & big red,

I will get an adress for Falcon and post it tonight if I get a chance; just back in from DXB-DOH and must get sleep. In answer to the question about upgrades I can say that the mgmt. upgrades within if they can from right seat to left seat metro. The Convair is a very expensive endorsement ( over $40K US I have heard)so they have been leary in the past to upgrade onto it, although one of our captains off of the Metro will be doing the upgrade (I hope) by early next year as we will be losing a dual rated captain (all convair drivers also fly the sewtro). There have been as of late three captains (two metro and one dual rated) go onto the 757. The !!!!ty thing here is that they expect you to fork over the $17K US for the endorsement because it is actually owned and opperated by Nordstress Australia. Mgmt, the other day promised that this will not be the case if DHL owns the aircraft, and as the Nord. contract does not end for two years so until then it is out of our pockets; from what people are paying for turbo-prop ratings though it seams like a bit of a bargain, espescially as one of the 757 guys who was on for less then a year just went to Air Mauritious and others have gone to Emirates. So to sum up, yes DHL does upgrade from the inside. You will only pay for the 757 but the Convair requires a two year comitment so you could fudge your chances of the 757. Also, and this is a huge longshot, we may see a few of the 727's come down from BRX as they are replaced by the 757's up there. It will not happen for a couple of years if ever though. Anyhoo, good luck with getting down here, other then us flying our asses off I very much enjoy the place; but I must say that I prefer Dubai, EK buscuit shooters are far more intelligent then GF's. I'm going to get into trouble for that one for sure, eh! See ya.
