So this means you do need a sim check to take SFO status into account? How long should it take to get the intermediate sim ride (B737)? Is this only when you have the 1500hrs prior to licence issue or do you wait until you have the licence in your hand?
Does this mean that if I show up on joining day with full ATPL then my refresher training and sim check will be geared towards being signed off as SFO from the outset? Would they be paying me SFO salary (90% thereof, I know) before having sim checked me as SFO.
I can't imagine whats different in sim checks between FO and SFO. Is the intermediate sim check upon reaching the hrs requirement to do with getting the fresh LPC/multi crew IR renewal after reaching 1500hrs for licence issue purposes?
