Question Flying in Abu Dhabi

Hi all,

Due to the current situation I've decided to put my CPL/IR on hold for a while to see how things pan out on the Job front. I will therefore possibly be moving to Abu Dhabi for a year or so and returning to my previous career in the oil industry.

I just had a couple of questions regarding flying in this area and wonder if anyone could help ?

1. What would I have to go through to allow me to fly out there. I currently have a UK PPL/Night with 200hours and all 14 JAA ATPL exams passed.

2. Where would be the nearest airfield and what kind of aircraft do they operate ?

3. What's an approximate cost per hr ?

4. Are there any special regulations that I would need to be aware of ?

Any info or advice would be greatly welcome, I don't think the flying could be any more different to the north of Scotland if it tried !

Regards
