Yes techniques can be learnt as I alluded to. However as wog said, consistency is a very important measure.

With all due respect; it doesn't take a genious to drive an ac, but it takes a certain personality/s to operate in a healthy multicrew environment. Many airlines lack this. QF, for the most part,
does not. The psych is more than just a silly IQ test, which seems to be a widely held perception.
