Rye is very near White Plains - you could try Panorama at White Plains they have new 172's but are not very cheap, alternatively there are plenty of schools at Danbury, CT about 40 miles north of Rye - try North American Aviation (152s 172s PA28s Katanas PA34s) or three wings at Bridgeport CT (30 miles East).
