As well as SEN, I think KIA is in a similar position to Teesside/Durham Tees Valley. They've both been bought by large 'infrastructure' companies who have either forgotten the old adage "How do you make a small fortune in aviation? Start with a large one..." or are they going to try their best for a couple of years and then turn round and say we can't make any money out of aviation, Mr Local Authority, perhaps we should use all this land for something else??
or am I just too cynical?
ps - not in the same league, but add Carlisle to the 'ones to watch' list as well...
