Hey all!!

Thank you so much for all of your thoughts! You are all fabulous!!

Oki-doki! lets see if I can help out some with your Q's (today was a bit of a breezy one, so I actualy have some what of a brain left to type!!)

You are placed in a large group of around 50-60 abinitio's (beginners) then that the group is broken down into smaller groups of around 10-15 people in each group. And so far everyone has been getting along very well (thankfully!!)

I have been placed into my perminant accom. so I am very lucky! Others have been placed into temp, which seems fine! my acom, is great and I have a lovely flat mate.....talk about well matching, our dogs even have the same names!!! lol!!

The recruiters are great (so far....although the hard work hasnt really began yet, thats tomorrow!!) but even the few that have come across as a bit tough, I have got along fine with. Just do as they ask and its a piece of cake!

I took with me around Dhr 900. This was to get me through the first 2 days and I had plenty left over. You can not exchange money on a friday when you arrive (or alteast its very difficult, but most major shoping centers will have exchange places for use any other day) Sunday is when you would usually begin your induction (arrive on a fri or sat) and its this day you should (we did) recieve Dhr 2500 (500 as a gift, 2000 pay advance)

I have my uniform (wore it today first time!) you should be in it within 3 days of your induction starting, so I only needed one suit and 2 business shirts to get me through until the uniform.

Schedule has been fine (as its only induction) but there is very little spare time to yourself and lots to learn about how the country/city itself opperates (they dont use addresses here for starters, places are determined by landmarks!!) You will also find yourself running around to get your mobile/cell sim's set up etc.

So there you have it! Hope it has helped some?? Oh and yes I think emirates girl asked if I was in the same group as D, and the answer is yes just diferent batch (and we are pretty good friends already, as we went through the interviews together! So I'm looking forward to meeting you soon I wish you a safe and happy flight!)

I will try to keep posting, but as we start the real work tomorrow, maybe not as frequently as I will be hitting the books hard

Take care guys
p.s before you come over make sure you stock up on your sleep, as with everything going on in such a short amount of time, and your body clock adjusting, I think your brain goes into a bit of overload and a number of us have been having trouble getting to sleep....but starting to regulate now!
