Case in point; Southern, well established RPT operator taking on jets that were in Oz for decades, NJS was involved in C&T ( helping Southern out )for well over 12 months. Route proving, line training, etc etc, new type into Oz, be surprised if its operating RPT inside of 4 months after it lands. Rennurp could attest to this with the 717/NJS- 3 months to train jet experienced guys, with the sim and all the Jetstar guys readily available in Oz.
Must admit I was surprised to hear about it, 30+ million a piece ( correct me if I'm wrong ) must make for high lease costs, and then counting on just over double the pax on Kun-Brm, guess time will tell.
