Madrid Barrajas is not Barcelona nor Alicante/Benidorm ! Madrid city is very expensive, and Barajas is very ugly, there is no beaches, and a very cold winter and absolutely warm summer. Adding to that, the very few routes at MAD compared to the UK bases, and moreover, living in a country where people do not speak english... I dont think that so many guys would be interrested in that base, unless obviously they are spanish.. But I might be wrong
