If it is true that redundancy numbers will be similar then there is indeed a story. The press are not so ready to report the problems experienced by pilots, as we are percieved as highly paid professionals who do not need sympathy. Not so the ground staff, who are people that readers will identify with.
The idea of Flybe walking away due to bad publicity is a nonsense. The whole deal should be subjected to maximum scrutiny by as many as possible.
