Matt H I think you're probably right. I would have expected to see some debris if the nosegear collapsed, but I don't think it could have rolled over soft ground like that. What I find startling are the tracks. No curve at all- just a straight line almost from the runway centreline. It must have been a very violent turn. And they do like like a fire engine and support vehicles, parked off the soft ground.
