I'm sure you will love Mackinac Lsland. There are only 5 (I think) vehicles on the island. Three fire trucks, one ambulance and the fuel truck at the airport. Other than that it's horses or bicycles.
My wife and I spent a weekend there by accident. Went there for just a day and had such a good time we came back the next day and stayed for the weekend. We stayed at a Bed & Breakfast place, with a bar of course.
Watch out for all the fudge shops.
