Yes ... At this time of huge shortage of qualified pilots it should not be neccecary to pay huge amounts of money for time in A/C.
Personally I would not go for it.
Unless ofcourse somebody offers you a job on paper and requires you to have 100h in type as a prerequisite.
There are better options where to put money in aviation , like girls.
If you decide to do a jet or pay for hours program, I suggest that you try to get in touch with somebody that has gone through schools program and see what he/she has to say about it.
Company I work for has a pay for training program and some of the fellows that have purchased ,say 200h, have actually been hired to fly the line. But that totally depended on persons ability to fit in and skills as pilot. Out of 10 pay for training fellows, we have probably hired 4 pilots.
