Weather here has been ghastly lately- not too cold by our standards
but very yucky. Last week in a 36-hour period we got 25cm of snow, followed immediatly by an hour of freezing rain, then it went to +9C and rained for 8 hours before the temp dropped to -11 turning the city into a wonderful skating rink. The flies are never an issue in the city but once you get an hours' drive north of here they'll eat you alive in May & June.
