Seems their standards have dropped if they only do 2 assessments a month now.

I think that you have managed to contradict yourself in your post. You said yourself that being assessed on every flight meant that most assessments were just standard average ones as they had too many to do. Now we have to ask to be assessed and also have feedback given to CSBMs/ Mentors without us knowing.
The people doing the assessment are more honest and through as they arent doing 5 every time they fly.
Recognition slips are still few and far between.
