In Gf a 12years service Captain then newly promoted to the L1011 and also in charge of national training left to become a Cathay F/o.
Also a very good B737 Captain also left Gf to become a Cathay F/o.
That was in around 1981..........so this transfer of skills Eastwards is hardly new.
Then there were the many very good GF L1011 and B767 Captains that went to DEC SIA.
Cricky.... Even Gulf National Captains dumped GF for airlines Eastwards.
Double Cricky...Even the Gf CEO and his Management team went Eastwards.
I wonder why everyone goes Eastwards?
