Obviously if we could all afford to we'd simply do the training and take the IR test - but most can't. If you dont take the flight test within 3 years of the written, you have to do them again.
Thecontroller seems to be asking whether someone who has currently fallen off the end as far as the 3 year rule is concerned, will be allowed to simply do the IR if and when this period is extended. N'est-ce pas?
