pigboat,
I don't remember the livery or the reg.nos.Was around the middle of June 69 - with a fair amount of snow still around.
We were a group of 9, built a bonfire on the shore while waiting - cooked beans.
Moving us all required three trips,my trip was the last and used up most of the remaining daylight. We were all kids, and pilot was not a big talker.I observed the rivets vibrating madly on the top surface of the floats.
The trip up from YUL was QB BAC111 to Sept Isles, then QB twin otter (pilots chain smoked all the way)to Harrington. Pax were deplaned and then had to refuel the Otter via a hand cranked gas pump. Not the business class I'm accustomed to now but excellent memories.
