I take it you have a Macbook (Black or white plastic ... little camera on the display?)
Buy your memory from

Select the manufacturer (Apple), your computer model (ibook, macbook etc.) and then the memory you want.
The Macbook memory costs £180 for 2GB.
I highly recommend a minimum of 1GB.
