Whilst it is always good to see pictures of the classic machines of old I find it equally fascinating to see the non-aviation photos too; the tents, buildings, infrastructure, mess, tents!, the footy match but most of all the people. Gives a real flavour to the whole thing. Utterly fascinating. Very good scans too (I love the leave pass). Has Pprune found it's mil photo archivist?
