i am neither from EK nor CX. but if you spend enough time to browse over different threads about these two airlines, you will definitely get your answers.
my advice is take both interviews and decide later. it's always better to have a backup in case you don't make it in one. either way, i think you will be okay in any of these two. goodluck!
