anhedral??
i've seen some russian built aircraft with some extreme anhedral which must force them to use the last minute de-crab in a strong crosswind landing.
just sitting on the ramp, the wing tips are close to the ground. perhaps they bend a lot with lift on them.
and while i'm here anyone know the advantages/disadvantages of the dihedral/anhedral choice. it appears all western countries favour the dihedral, but there had to be a reason for the russians to use anhedral other than a simple desire to be different. and considering the proximity to the ground, those advantages must be significant.
