There was a posting some time ago about the FSS closures. Since NAV Canada completed it's Northern Service Review an number of FSS stations have been replaced with Community Aerodrome Radio Stations (CARS).
Some would say these changes are a drop in the level of service, others, that it is just a change in how the service is delivered.
Has anyone delt with these CARS stations? What do you think? Should there be more in Canada,maybe to suppliment exsisting FSS in the south?
