well, with the recent lay off by three airlines goiing under, there's a lot of hight time pilots out there. So For the time beiing, I don't think it would make a diffrance. But It won't last forever hopefully. I suppose if it's the job you want (flying Dash-8) well a rating is always nice for the employer( read saves them money $$$)
