Thumbs up

I have heard of flight schools sponsoring foreign pilots as flight instructors. Making the personal contact and convincing the employer you have a unique skill or qualification which other Canadians pilots cannot provide is the key. The employer will have to advertise the postion and be unable to fullfill the postion based on the qualifications required.

I flight instructed at the Victoria International Airport a few years ago and enjoyed it immensely. The WX, scenery and mix of transport, commuter, millitary and light traffic makes for some very wonderful experieces!

I'm flying a light twin commuter in the north now and feel like I'm providing a real and needed service to the community. I really enjoy the freedom of the uncontrolled airspace and the short gravel strips I frequent.

Good luck with you career. Hope it works out well for you!
