I am amused to see BA send me (today) an advertising blurb dressed up as a 'magazine' titled
PRESTIGE LIFE (please note the trendy italics.
"Dear Mr PaxBoy
When you fly as often as we do, you soon discover the best places to stay."
Or, indeed, the places to try and sell you.
Now, I have no arguments with them sending me more advertising that I can put into the recycle bin but [selecting pedant mode] the layout of the 'letter' is very poor and it would have been better to make it a simple advert rather than pretend that it is a letter. [pedant out (actually is'ts more pedant listening out!].
It has got very pretty pictures though! OK, I'll get back to work after that little break.
