I have to say that its not common here to pay to work over here. I've been through two TRs both paid for. Of course I've signed a bond, but its nowhere near the idea of paying to work. Everywhere you look, there always seems to be somebody willing to pay for their ratings and line training, not only in scandinavia. I'd rather blame EagleJet etc and current legislation for allowing this line training nonsense.
