The defense minister said this friday that there is a project of increasing greatly the number of ATCs. According to him, the flight congestion that happened in Brasilia doesnīt have to be with the fact that 8 ATC working the day of the GOL accidente, were moved away.
...the ATCs will continue being militars, as he says that the control of air space is a matter or national security.
I think itīs possible that they noticed that the lack of ATCīs may have caused the accident.
