The requirement to qualify for an extended ICAO renewal is "to hold a national class one from any ICAO state AND holds a valid CPL/ATPL"

Full initial class one not required. I booked mine about 4 weeks ago and this was confirmed by the CAA.

According to the paperwork I have just received, the extended renewal consists of:
Audiogram
Peak Flow (if required)
Eyesight or extended Ophthalmology (if required)...etc.

This may be where your commment applies where the ICAO class 1 is not JAA compliant. This is included in the GBP 258.00. You do not need the full initial as you have stated.
See;

As redsnail has said, read LASORs for all the requirements.

For ATPL:

If you dont qualify for an ATPL,its the CPL and abbreviated IR.

Reddo,

I'm doing the Observed LST in Feb (converting my ATPL to JAA ATPL IAW LASORS G1.5) with GECAT. Are there any differences from a normal ATPL/Multi Pilot Skill test?
