I was a freight dog for 20 years. Light twins, Convairs, DC-9's and finally 727's. Got a hair up my bum one day and took a job left seat in a 727 for a pax outfit.Money's OK and I'm home a LOT more. I HATE HATE HATE it.Other than learning to fly in the first place, biggest mistake I ever made. I'm tired of all the ditzy girlies coming into the cokpit and saying "Where are we, it's too hot, it's too cold,when do we get there,is the hotel nice"etc.etc. etc.. I HATE wearing that STUPID WHITE HAT. I feel like an ice cream vendor at a ballpark.I don't like that any freight dog can fly CIRCLES around any pax pilot, and these kids I'm flying with sometimes can't even land without scaring me.Yeah, were gonna defer the autopilot, ever hand fly a plane?
Don't take me wrong. All of the people I've come across are great. I just can't stand it when the suns up.
