Hi Nemo24. Regarding the medicals, unfortunately you do need to take a blood test (in your country of residence and Im pretty sure in Dubai when you arrive to test for drugs). The blood tests are to test the levels of Haemoglobin (red blood cells that carry Oxygen) in your blood and also check for HIV. You will also need to have a number of injections for immunisation. A Pap smear is required taken within the last 3yrs, hope this helps, Best of Luck
