Indeed Coppi and this is where the confusion arrises. When they "clearly" state that there is no bond for NG rated pilots, but there is for 300 pilots etc.
Now, if I were asked if I was NG rated, I would say yes based on what I read on my CAA issued license (3-900)hence I would expect no bond. Equally if I were asked if I flew the 300 I would say yes, hence a bond. As I said earlier, I do not object to some kind of small bond for SOP training and diffs etc, indeed my own company required £5K over 1 year, but 5 years for training that by no means amounts to a type rating is surely way too steep and I would still love to know the value of the bond.

Maybe I am missreading it, but it seems I am not alone in my confusion of their website statement.

Anyway, as you said Coppi, I am sure it is very flexible depending on demand.
